Hyde Park London

Hyde Park London 1980

I was playing around with friends cheap basic camera using 120 B&W film and this is one image which seems to capture the mood of the morning in Hyde Park, in some way the lack of technical quality is one of the things that has enhanced the mood of the image, the timing is also an aspect of being present, the man just came into view at the perfect moment. There is a feeling you get when you frame a shot up and in that moment it is as if you are entering a kind of presence which has alerted your mind and soul that puts you in touch to press the button when the time is in union with the whole.
